Barnes & Noble announced an update to the Nook Color that will allow it to run a version of Android’s FroYo operating system. The update will add a Nook app store with specifically designed apps, runs Flash and has an improved email client. The new features and low cost make it a formidable tablet choice. In other news, the advent of the DVR transformed how audiences consume television and soon, how networks charge advertisers.
