I totally agree about the dangers of texting or accessing the internet or using a handheld device.  However, using a hands free telephone should not be any more distracting than talking to a passenger in the front seat, or having children in the back seat, or eating/drinking while driving.  Are those distractions also to be outlawed?

Ok, Lets ban hands free talking and texting, as long as I can still play Angry Birds and Words With Friends while I drive, I can support this!   Of course we should also ban conversations with wife, family and friends and the use of the radio, iPod, CD, Kiddy TV’s and, of course, Billboards will have to go, as well as any attention getting signage on businesses (sorry MacDonalds and T.A. Service Centers)….oh, and those signs with exit information and mileage to various destinations, gotta go….and ladies, you’ll need to dress according to Sharia Law. Now, I just have to figure out a way to stop that annoying voice in my head that’s constantly coming up with ridiculous ideas while i drive…What else?
