Have you checked your computer to make sure you don’t have the DNS Changer bug?

DNS Changer

DNS Changer

(For full information about what this bug is, check out our previous coverage.)

It’s very simple what you need to do if you have not checked yet. Use the DNS Changer Check-Up website (created and sanctioned by the FBI) to see if your computer is infected or not. If the screen turns green (just like the image to the left), great — your computer is not infected. If it turns red, the site will walk you through with what you need to do in order to remedy the situation.

Don’t wait! If your computer is infected and you don’t fix this problem before Monday, you’ll be unable to access the internet (and thereby fix the problem) unless you get help from someone else.
