We’ve officially begun the holiday season, which means food, fun and family for the next several weeks. But after the food has been eaten, the gifts have been opened and the family wants to watch a movie or show on Netflix or Hulu, how do you make that happen on your HDTV? Lucky for you, there are many options. Many newer TVs come with pre-installed apps in the TV itself. If that’s a no go for you, every video game console on the market today – the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and even the original Wii – have Netflix, Hulu and other video apps. Set-top boxes like Roku, Apple TV and TiVo also have these apps available. If you’re still out of luck after all those options, most newer laptops come with HDMI ports, which let you send your laptop’s picture and sound directly to your TV. If you’re still out of luck, I hope you have some board games lying around.
