There’s a whole bunch of tips and tricks I’ve posted at ShellyPalmer.com, but here are some of the most helpful. If you want to view all your apps at once, hold down your Control key and scroll out with your mouse. Want to categorize those apps? Drag them to the right side of the screen and Windows should create a new group, which you can then rename with a right-click. One of the coolest new features in Windows 8 is the ability to have a “picture password.” Press the Windows key plus the “I” key to get to settings. From there, click “Change PC Settings” at the bottom right, and go to the Users tab. Under sign-in options, choose “Create a picture password,” pick which picture you want to use, then choose up to three gestures – circles, swipes and clicks – to log in. Pretty neat, huh?
