To help prevent this, here are some tips to make your cell phone’s battery last longer. When you’re not going to check your phone for an extended period, turn it off! This sounds obvious, but it’ll help give you juice when you need it. Even in sleep mode, your phone uses battery. If you’re in an area where your phone constantly searches for service, turn it off or put it in airplane mode until a more reliable signal is nearby. Searching for signal kills your phone’s battery. Turn off features you’re not actively using – Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc. Each of these takes up battery and keeps you from using your phone for what you actually want. By following these steps, your phone should make it through the day much easier and be there when you really need it.
