iHeartRadio announced Sept. 16 that the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Festival Sept. 20-21 in Las Vegas that will include an appearance by Paul McCartney will be broadcast live on radio and streamed online as well as broadcast as a taped four-hour prime-time TV special. The festival will broadcast live via Clear Channel radio stations across the country and will be video streamed through Yahoo Music and the PlayStation®3 (PS3™) gaming console. In addition, the Festival, now in its third year, will be televised as a two-night primetime special on The CW Network to kick off their fall season on Sept. 30. iHeartRadio gave no details on how much of McCartney’s performance will be featured on any of the online or TV/radio broadcasts. The sold-out festival, hosted by Ryan Seacrest Sept. 20-21 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, will feature performances by artists including Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry.
