Shelly Palmer Radio Report – October 1, 2013

After several months in beta, iOS 7 is finally here. If you want to make the most out of Apple’s newest mobile OS, here are some tips and tricks. With iOS 7, Siri is smarter than ever before. It’s so smart, in fact, that you can correct it if Siri says someone’s name wrong. By saying, “That’s not how you pronounce that,” you set Siri up for a short exercise that will correct the pronunciation. You can also ask Siri to find images, find out what’s happening in the news and search for tweets by name or topic, all by using conversational language. And, if you’re a Twitter junkie like me, you’ll have to check out the newest feature in Safari’s bookmark menu. Click the @ symbol inside Bookmarks to find a list of links from your Twitter feed. If you follow a bunch of accounts that tweet great links and you keep losing track, this is a smart way to keep everything sorted out.
