Verizon announced on Monday that new FiOS TV or FiOS Internet customers who sign up for a new, two-year agreement will receive a free LG G Pad 8.3 LTE tablet — or up to $200 off any other tablet available from Verizon Wireless. The offer is also available for existing customers who add new service to their existing account. The offer is valid for FiOS orders placed by July 19 with an installation date scheduled by August 20.
If you sign up for the promotion, you’ll receive a certificate for the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE tablet within 30 days of the FiOS installation, which you can then redeem at any Verizon Wireless Communications store before September 30. Verizon said the tablet does not require a FiOS contract, but is required to be activated on the Verizon Wireless network. Customers interested in a data-only plan can select plans starting as low as $30 per month, which includes 2 GB data allowance and the monthly access charge.
