Have you ever tried to give directions to someone and found the process more difficult than it should be? With Smart GPS Solutions’ newest app ‘CellSpotter’ (now available as a free download in iOS and Android), those troubles are a thing of the past.
CellSpotter offers GPS tracking on a temporary basis, which you can enable or disable within the app. By turning this feature on, you broadcast your location to other users looking to find exactly where you are. Turning off the signal is a breeze, too, and can be done either manually or automatically. CellSpotter also lets you upload a picture of your current location, and gives one-tap access to directions in Google Maps.
“You may only need it a few times a year, but when you need it, you need it,” says Keith Shanahan, the developer of CellSpotter. Shanahan says others may find use for it every day — like parents who want to see their children’s whereabouts.
CellSpotter is now available as free download in Apple’s App Store and in the Google Play Store.
