Verizon Wireless, provider of the fastest and most advanced 4G LTE network in America, has expanded its network coverage in the Northern New Jersey area by activating a cluster of 4G LTE cell sites across Essex, Morris and Somerville Counties. The network launches today and will be available to customers in the following cities and towns:
- Chatham, New Jersey
- East Hanover, New Jersey
- Hanover, New Jersey
- Madison, New Jersey
- Morristown, New Jersey
- Troy Hills, New Jersey

Residents of Northern New Jersey will now be able to enjoy the new Verizon Wireless 4G LTE devices, including the recently launched Revolution™ by LG, DROID Charge by Samsung, Thunderbolt by HTC and the 4G LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. In addition, customers will be able to connect to the nation’s fastest and most advanced network on-the-go with the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE USB Modem 551L, USB modems from LG and Pantech, as well as 4G LTE Mobile Hotspots by Novatel and Samsung. All 4G LTE devices are “backward compatible,” so they will default to 3G service when 4G LTE is not available. The Verizon Wireless 3G network is available coast to coast and is the most reliable in the country.
