A recent report by CNet states that Google’s street view cars collected user’s location information through open Wi-Fi hotspots. If your device was being used as a wireless router, Google captured its MAC address, which could be used to discover its location. Google stated that non-static hotspots are supposed to be deleted from the database. Read the full article at CNet.com
