You put on your glasses and look out the window, out in the distance, almost instantly you see the temperature and the weather forecast icons.  A moment later, information about your morning meeting shows up in your field of vision.  You ask for a Google map and then for walking directions.  On your way, you see a food truck and stop to get a coffee.  It’s great and you share the location with your friends by simply asking your glasses to take a picture of the truck and checking in to the location.  It’s not science fiction, it’s Google’s ProjectGlass and the search giant finally revealed some details about Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s vision of hands-free, smartphone free, augmented reality.  It’s not a product yet, but it is on its way.  What about distracted walking? Is there a chance you’ll find yourself reading directions while crossing the street and become roadkill? Well, nothing’s perfect.
