DigitalLivingU: Stop Clicking on Facebook Photos

How much time do you spend on Facebook? A lot, if you’re most people. However, most people aren’t getting the most out of their Facebook experience and that’s because they aren’t using FB Photo Zoom. Most people have to click every single photo and wait for Facebook Theater to load each image. Well, guess what? Join the 1%!

FB Photo Zoom

It’s okay, seriously. Get FBPZ and stop wasting your precious time clicking and waiting. It automatically enlarges any Facebook image or thumbnail as soon as you rollover it with your mouse. If you’re a power user, this extension will change your life. This is my favorite Google Chrome extension. Period.

DigitalLivingU: Watch NFL Games Online for FREE

This semester my housemates and I decided to cut the cord and just get a high-speed Internet plan. At first, no one complained since we collectively have accounts on Netflix, hulu+, WatchESPN, EPIX, and HBO/MAX GO—we are the poster boys for TV Everywhere. However, once the NFL season started, we found ourselves unable to watch our favorite teams. Sadly, we had to resort to fantasy football stat trackers, which just didn’t cut it. Yes, NBC streams Sunday Night Football online and Monday Night Football is streamed through the WatchESPN suite. But still, that’s only two games a week! Some of us need more football than that.

Giants vs. Eagles

So what can you do? Go to a little site I found last week called www.firstrowsports.tv and click on the tab that says “AM FOOTBALL,” and enjoy live NFL games and other sporting events online wherever you are. Though this solution is works great, there are some negatives: there are extra popups that show up as overlays during viewing and picture quality can be suboptimal. That being said, it’s live NFL football online! Get the chips and dip ready.
