Verizon
Verizon recently announced that it’s expanding it’s 4G long-term evolution network to 21 more markets by June 16. By then, Verizon hopes service will span a total of 76 markets providing wireless download speeds of up to 12 Mbps. The entire 4G network is expected to replace 3G completely by the end of 2013. Verizon announced that Sony’s PlayStation phone called the Xperia Play will be available on May 26th. The phone costs $199 with a two-year contract and pre–orders start on May 19th.
