The Obama administration came out in opposition to current anti-piracy legislation. The White House is the most recent critic of the Stop Online Piracy Act, vowing to not support legislation that encourages unjustified litigation or restricts the freedoms of expression afforded by the Internet. FCC Bans Loud Commercials

Soon you’ll never have to run for the remote to turn down an obnoxiously loud commercial. The FCC passed the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act, which will require commercials to maintain the same volume as what you were previously watching.
