Apple is facing two separate lawsuits that claim the company purposefully allowed advertisers access to iPhone and iPad users’ information. One lawsuit is seeking class-action status for anyone who downloaded an application in the past two years and comes after the Wall Street Journal exposed 101 applications sharing user data. Google may face similar lawsuits, as they too require users to give away information access to applications.
