Unknown hackers successfully compromised BARTpoa.com, site of the Bay Area Rapid Transit Police Officers Association and released union members’ information. Included in the data is officers’ names, passwords, phone number, home and e-mail addresses. The hack was presumably in retaliation for BART shutting down station cellphone service to prevent protesters from organizing. Read the full article at CNet.com
