Twitter adds e-mail sharing

Twitter added the ability to share tweets via e-mail Thursday, the company announced in a blog post. The feature will be rolling out to all users in the coming weeks. While Twitter had previously expected users to share tweets simply by passing them on to their own followers, many users wanted a way to share off the network as well. “Of course, you can retweet any of these to your Twitter followers, but sometimes you want to share with another group, like your college roommates or your parents or a friend who isn’t yet on Twitter,” wrote Twitter engineer Stefan Flip in the post.
