Lenovo

Lenovo has its hand in nearly every home computing market, from laptops and ultrabooks to tablets to desktops and all-in-ones and beyond. It has also tackled the business sector, offering workstations, servers and other hardware and solutions to companies around the world. But what sets Lenovo apart is its innovation. While you’re here check out one of its coolest (and newest!) of Lenovo’s products — the ThinkPad Twist — which is a laptop-tablet hybrid. While that would be enough for some companies, Lenovo has added even more features to this awesome device. It’s designed to work in four different modes: laptop mode, stand mode, tablet mode and tent mode. You shift from one mode to the next by spinning, pivoting or twisting the hinge connecting the keyboard and screen. Laptop mode and tablet mode are exactly as you’d imagine – laptop mode has the traditional keyboard in front of the screen perspective, while tablet mode has the keyboard folded underneath to allow you to work on a 12.5” screen. Between those two modes, however, is stand mode. This leans more toward the tablet side of things, as the keyboard is tucked away in the back, but this mode essentially transforms your device into a screen that’s great for presentations or movies or whatever you want to watch. The final mode, tent mode, is similar, as the device is propped up using the top of the screen and the front of the keyboard as feet. The best part about the ThinkPad Twist is its power. With up to an i7 processor, 8 GB of memory and 128 GB solid state storage, the Twist is ready to help you tackle whatever it is you need to do.
