Sharing your vacation photos with family and friends just got a whole lot simpler, thanks to Google’s Auto Awesome feature. The company introduced Google+ Stories and Movies on Tuesday, both of which take advantage of the special effects function to weave photos, GIFs, videos, and maps into a digital travelogue. “No more sifting through photos for your best shots, racking your brain for the sights you saw, or letting your videos collect virtual dust,” Anil Sabharwal, director of product management, wrote in a blog post. “We’ll just gift you a story after you get home.” The Stories feature is available this week on Android and the Web; an iOS version is “coming soon.” “This way you can relive your favorite moments, share them with others, and remember why you traveled in the first place,” Sabharwal said.
