Anyone who’s taken a family vacation knows how easy it is to get overwhelmed with the pictures and videos you take on your trip. Google wants to simplify that process and help you share your best memories with two new Google Plus features. Google Plus Stories, now available on Android and the web and coming soon to iOS, takes your photos, GIFs, videos and maps and combines them into a slideshow that tells the story of your vacation. Meanwhile, Google Plus Movies, available now on Android, iOS and the web, creates a “highlight reel” of the photos and videos from your trip by adding effects, transitions and a soundtrack to your snapshots. Both Stories and Movies are part of Google Plus’s ‘Auto Awesome’ feature, which means they do their work in the background to assemble your pictures and notify you when your story or movie is ready to view or share. To access either of these features today, all you’ve got to do is start backing up your photos and videos to Google+.
