Panera Bread Will Launch Coffee Subscription

Subscription services work! The numbers tell the story. Niren Chaudhary, Panera’s CEO, said that monthly visits to Panera Bread locations in test markets increased over 100 percent and food sales were up 70 percent.

The subscription costs $8.99 per month, and you get all the coffee or tea you can drink. What’s not to love? The coffee’s pretty good and “all you can drink” is very “pro consumer.”
