Our team has been walking the floor at CES® 2020 for the past two days, and we’ve seen so many exciting things already. Here are some of our biggest takeaways so far.
The Bell Nexus is back, and it looks even cooler than it did last year. This year, Bell is showing off its new “4EX” model with fewer ducted fans and a longer wing. It’s also fully electrically-powered. It’s awesome!!
John Deere’s new 8RX tractor is a CES 2020 Innovation Awards honoree, but few things are as breathtaking as the R4038 sprayer on display in South Hall — all 132 feet of it. You’ve really got to see the size of it to believe it. John Deere is also showing off new tech to control the sprayer, which uses sensors to spray only where weeds are, only the areas that need nitrogen, only the areas that need potassium, etc. It’s more efficient, more profitable, and more environmental. It’s great!
BlackBerry has a great story to tell at CES 2020 around is QNX platform, but its “low flying satellite” (sometimes known as a van) caught my eye. It’s creating more than 4 TB of data every hour.
Brunswick’s new 40-foot concept boat is another showstopper, and a look at the future of boating. Its most impressive feature is its simplified UI/command center. Think Boat as a Service or Boat as an App, complete with a one-touch party button. (Seriously.)
