According to a report by Reuters, Netflix’s CEO Reed Hastings has been in talks with executives from major cable providers to make its streaming video service part of their offerings. Hastings has said in the past that he wants Netflix to be more like an HBO, so the move isn’t surprising. Netflix could add a lot of subscribers by packaging its service through cable providers.
