Yesterday, I asked for your feedback regarding NYC’s vaccine passport mandate. Even the most pro-vaxxers have legitimate questions about how a vaccine passport program or vaccine mandates will be properly monitored and enforced. The complexity was exacerbated by the fact that approximately one-third of respondents did not see COVID-19 as a problem.
(Importantly, this was not a scientific study. Every respondent was a subscriber to my daily email, and the demographics of my email list do not reflect the demographics of North America. At best, it’s armchair research, but the results offered a pretty good “sense of the room.”)
The New Paradigm
I think it’s fair to say we’re not “going back to work” in September; we are already “at work.” A hybrid workforce (on-location and online) is the new paradigm. To succeed, we must modify workflows and processes, adapt our physical and technological infrastructures, and do our best to reduce systemic location-based biases.
I’d be happy to chat with you about media training and virtual meeting training to set your hybrid teams up for success, A/V equipment specifications for every workspace in your office (desks, conference rooms, pitch rooms, common spaces, etc.), as well as home and remote office best practices.
