Plan Your CES 2022 Experience

CES 2022 West Hall LVCC

CES will return to Las Vegas in January 2022, and we’ve got big plans (in-person and online) for the show. “We’re thrilled to return to Las Vegas – home to CES for more than 40 years – and look forward to seeing many new and returning faces,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, Consumer Technology Association (CTA). “The pace of innovation has accelerated over the last 18 months, and attendees will see these advancements at CES.”

Gary’s right, of course. CES is one of the very best places to get a feel for the pace of technological change and to make predictions about the future impact of emerging technologies. I will add that if there is any “silver lining” to what we’ve all been through in the past 18 months, it may be the speed with which consumer behaviors have adapted to our new reality. Everyone’s relationship with tech has changed. This is what we are planning to explore at CES 2022.

In-Person and Online

The CTA has announced that attendees will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend CES 2022. (It is also assessing the acceptance of proof of a positive antibody test as an alternative requirement.) While the organization has yet to share implementation details, it has made a commitment to follow the science.

With that in mind, we are thrilled and excited to offer a full suite of live, in-person tech briefings, tours, and events for CES 2022. Since 1996, thousands of C-suite executives, marketers, media buyers, brand managers, policy makers, and engineers have maximized their time at the show by taking one of our tours or participating in one of our breakfasts, cocktail parties, or dinners. Re/code dubbed Shelly Palmer “the King of CES Tour Guides.”

We are also thrilled and excited to offer a full suite of live, online tech briefings, tours, and events for CES 2022. As we did for CES 2021, we will offer bespoke online versions of our tech briefings and floor tours as well as our summits and networking events – each designed and produced to be best-in-class online experiences.

What’s New for 2022

We’ll see Food Tech, Space Tech, and DeFi for the first time at CES 2022. We’re also going to enjoy the opening of the brand new West Hall (across the street from North Hall). The auto industry will be back – Elon’s tunnel will be open, and we’re expecting all kinds of new digital health technologies.

We’ll look at trends in media consumption, the way the music business is changing, sports tech, eSports, and gaming of every kind. We are likely to see more “new new things” in ’22 than we’ve seen in the past few years as the tech industry has done all it can to adapt to (and anticipate) consumer needs.

We’re also going to get an up-close and personal view of the supply chain issues, get a better understanding of how and when the chip shortages will abate, and gain deeper insights as to how truly “global” the tech industry has become.

It’s Time to Start Planning Your Hybrid CES 2022 Experience

CES 2022 is just around the corner. We have already begun booking combined in-person and online “hybrid” tech briefings and floor tours. Why hybrid? Even under perfect conditions, an in-person tech briefing and floor tour can only accommodate 15 to 18 participants. Obviously there is no limit to the number of online attendees you can invite, so it’s easy to include the rest of your workforce, select clients, and partners as well.

CES is home to companies from the world’s best-known brands and startups from around the world, with more groups looking to showcase tech at CES – Amazon, AMD, Facebook, Oracle, Sierra Space, Sony, Hisense, Hyundai, IBM, Intel, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Procter & Gamble, Qualcomm, Samsung, Sony, and more. Whether you plan to attend in-person or online, I hope you’ll reach out to learn more about how we can help you achieve your business goals at the world’s most influential and important tech event.
