Txt messaging has become so popular that the FCC wants people to be able to txt 911 in case of an emergency. This would be really helpful in intruder or home invasion cases where callers need to be silent. In other news, Acer is the latest company to join in the tablet wars. The computer manufacturer will be releasing three tablets early next year that will run either Windows 7 or Google’s Android operating systems. The new tablets will come in three sizes with either a 5-inch, 7-inch or 10-inch screen. No word on pricing. And finally, Prince William and his fiancé Kate Middleton have set a date for their upcoming April wedding. However, not everyone is excited about it. A U.K. bishop has been suspended for commenting on Facebook that he doesn’t think the marriage will last more than 7 years and that the events surrounding the wedding are a “nauseating tosh.” That must be a technical term.
