A six-year cross-licensing agreement for $1.5 billion has been signed between Intel and NVIDIA. The agreement will give Intel full access to NVIDIA’s patents. In return, NVIDIA will receive $1.5 billion over 6-years and retain access to Intel’s patents from a previous deal. The massive deal is good news for the consumer and the companies, who can continue to provide cutting edge chipsets.
