According to a report by Reuters, Verizon plans to take on Netflix with its own streaming movie and television service. The service could roll out in 2012 and would be made available outside of Verizon’s broadband and TV markets. Verizon is currently in talks with numerous content providers.     This looks like a good benefit for people with Verizon, but I don’t think that it will suit my needs. Working for DISH Network I know that they have, by far, a superior product. So far, not other provider minus DISH has offered the ability to stream live TV outside of the home network, as well as your DVR recordings. Something that I might enjoy the most is the face that you can do all of this outside of the home network, it’s a one of a kind offer.
