The popularity of tablets and e-readers skyrocketed over the holidays, with 19% of adults now owning some sort of tablet device. The massive drop in prices also doubled ownership of e-readers to 20% of adults, up 10% just from November 2011. These numbers are huge considering only 3% of adults owned iPads in May 2010.
