Advances in technology can give a boost to products in many industries. The baby industry is no different and I’m not just talking about toys. I’m talking about technological advances in items like strollers and playpens, that can take some serious stress out of a parent’s day. Pittsburgh based company 4moms incorporates robotics and electronics into their products and the innovation is paying off.  The company just raised 20 million bucks. 4moms makes slick products like a stroller that folds up with the press of a button and a playpen that folds out and back up in one step. You can operate both of these products with just one arm, presumably so you keep the baby in the other. The stroller especially looks really impressive in action. This is an excellent example of technology doing the thing it’s always promised to do: making life easier. I only wish they made these when my kids were young.
