One of the inevitable effects of Apple releasing a new full-sized iPad alongside the iPad Mini is the waves of Apple diehards trying to unload their now “outdated” hardware. Hardware trading sites have announced that they’ve seen as much as a one-thousand percent increase in iPad swaps in the days following Apple’s announcements. While the most fanatical of us NEED to have the latest and greatest of everything Apple, the fourth-gen iPad is one upgrade you may be smarter to avoid. Historically, Apple has launched a new iPad every spring: the first three iPad releases hit shelves in either March or April. What’s to say they won’t upgrade this new iPad again in just a few short months? With that said, however, if you don’t have a tablet at all, or something like the first-gen iPad, this is the best tablet that Apple has ever made and it’s awesome. Just don’t be ticked off when the iPad 5 hits shelves in March.
