Ford Motor Company

Founded in 1903, Ford is an iconic American automaker, but don’t let its age fool you.  For has always been on the cutting edge of technology and today Ford’s technology continues to push boundaries. From in-car entertainment features like Ford SYNC and SYNC with MyFord Touch, to driving functions like torque vectoring control and active grille shutters, to simple, everyday innovations like a hands-free liftgate, Ford is on the cutting edge of automotive technology.

One of Ford’s most visible tech-y gadgets is SYNC, which is all about helping you stay in touch, stay entertained and stay informed.  The best part? It can all be controlled by your voice. What exactly can SYNC help you do? It allows you to answer phone calls with hands-free calling, and it will also read incoming text messages aloud, which lets you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.

SYNC also lets you control your entire music library with your voice, allowing you to both browse and play tracks through voice control. Sync also features audible turn-by-turn directions, personalized news, stocks and sports scores. You can able to personalize your driving experience from entertainment to climate with voice commands, touch screen controls or cluster screens controlled by steering wheel-mounted buttons.

One of the most important features of SYNC is 911 Assist, which calls for help automatically if you’re in an accident in which the airbag deploys.

As we hurdle toward the future, it only makes sense that our cars make the trip, too. Ford’s done their part.
