Android users may not admit to envying iOS users much but they can’t deny that they’d love to have access to the latest version of Android as soon as it’s released. Analytics firm Mixpanel estimates that more than 29% of iPhone users have already upgraded to iOS 7 just one day after its release. If Mixpanel’s numbers are accurate then it seems that there’s a lot of early demand for iOS 7, which is Apple’s biggest overhaul of iOS and is most notable for a flatter, cleaner look favored by design guru Jony Ive. In addition to aesthetic changes, iOS 7 also adds an updated Notification Center that can be accessed through the lock screen; a new motion-sensitive UI that shifts depending on how the phone is tilted and makes it seem as though the user is looking at a 3D display; a Control Center that can be accessed from anywhere on the device simply by swiping up from the bottom; and more.
