Xbox is receiving a major software update that includes advanced voice control and streaming live TV through the console. The update rolls out on Tuesday with apps from ESPN, YouTube and HBO Go. A $60 Xbox Live gold membership and supported cable plan are required to stream TV. In other news, a study by the medical journal Pediatrics found that sexting is less prevalent among minors than expected. 10% of children between the ages of 10 and 17 said they sent or received a suggestive image, but only 1% of the images were considered a violation of child pornography laws. And finally, Facebook acquired the team behind Gowalla, a service for sharing places you visit with your friends.
