Worried about Facebook’s privacy changes? The Electronic Privacy Information Center filed a complaint against the social network with the FTC, noting that the update to the privacy settings “violate user expectations, diminish user privacy, and contradict Facebook’s own representations.”

Google’s Translator service received an upgrade recently when the company launched real time translator in Google Sites. The tool lets users translate a site at the click of a button, adding to the fact that Google Translator also works in GMail, Google Reader and the toolbar. Google is making it easier for users to devour content in any language at the click of a finger.

BlackBerry users had a frustrating day yesterday when RIM’s email service crashed for hours. The crash left users and corporations unable to retrieve emails on their BlackBerry’s for a large portion of the day, effecting both business and personal matters as users prepare for the Holidays. While the problem was resolved, RIM is still unsure of what caused the crash, and noted that “some customers may still experience delays as email queues are processed.”
