Verizon will finally announce the arrival of Apple’s iPhone to its line of products. With many complaints of poor service and loss of iPhone exclusivity, AT&T could lose as many as three million new subscribers to Verizon. If Verizon’s network holds up to the demand, they will generate millions of dollars in new revenue. In other news, Best Buy just launched a program that will buy back obsolete technology from customers. By paying between forty and seventy dollars at purchase, Best Buy will later refund you a percentage of the item’s cost based on its age and recycle it. This awesome program will definitely help reduce our growing landfill clutter! And finally, Popular group buying site Groupon announced raising $950 million in its most recent round of financing. The nearly billion dollars comes after rejecting a $6 billion offer from Google. Groupon has of over 50 million subscribers and connections with over 58,000 local businesses making them a hot commodity for local advertising.
