Apple Starts Selling New Super-Skinny iMacs Friday

They may not have a lot of them. But they are selling them: Apple will start shipping one of its new, ultrathin iMac models later this week. It says the other one will be coming, as planned, next month. Starting Friday, you’ll be able to buy Apple’s new 21.5-inch iMac model, and next month, the company will be shipping its new 27-inch model. But Apple has already warned that supply-chain issues mean that it won’t have enough of these to go around. “We will have a significant shortage here,” CEO Tim Cook announced during the company’s last earnings call.
