HP, Intel, Microsoft Debut Pop-Up Parties, Street-Level Digital Graffiti

ORLANDO, Fla. (August 10, 2011) – HP is rocking the nation with a three-day Back-To-School tour featuring experiential elements at every turn, including laptop demo stations, PC-gaming, green screen photos, and an interactive digital graffiti display.

The campaign’s unifying theme showcases their signature HP laptops equipped with a powerful entertainment center and enhanced audio and video quality. Internationally recognized DJ’s will be spinning live at each location using HP Envy Beats Edition Laptops fully equip with the Beats Audio system. On August 5th, local music groups in each market will surprise attendees with a free performance.

The pop-up parties will emerge from a shipping container that unfolds to a 20′ x 25′ event space which will house the demo stations, DJ area, lounge seating, and PC-gaming area. Party-goers will also be able to create their own screen printed t-shirt and have their photo taken in front of a green screen, ensuring that the HP experience is truly unique for everyone.

Pedestrians will also encounter a vibrant vinyl wrapped POD by Monster Media, a portable storefront that can be placed in a variety of environments, with an integrated 10’ by 6’ interactive space.  The PODs are outfitted with multi-touch screens, which function similarly to the touch screen of a smartphone.  Artists of all ages are invited to use the various stencils, stamps and spray paint to sketch their very own masterpieces right on the street.
