Virginia Rometty Named IBM’s First Female CEO

IBM announced that Virginia Rometty would take Sam Palmisano’s place as CEO starting January 1st. Palmisano will remain stay with the company as the chairman, after nearly 10 years as CEO. With Rometty taking the helm, women will run two of the largest tech companies in the world.
