Shelly Palmer Radio Report – January 11, 2013

The 2013 International CES is almost over.  I’ve really enjoyed spending the week with 150,000 of my closest friends exploring over 3,000 exhibits.  What really stood out? For me, the reason to own a 110″ UltraHD television set was hard to imagine, until I saw one up close and personal.  I’ve seen a few TV sets in my day, but nothing prepared me for the size and quality of Westinghouse’s 110″ UltraHD TV set.  I was also blown away by Samsung’s televisions, smartphones and tablets.  This is going to be a great year for Samsung – it’s a company that makes products you just want to own.  I also loved the literally hundreds of companion apps that were available for almost every single product at the show.  If it was cool, it came with an app – which was the big story at CES.
